I am Engr. Aliyu Abdu, a B. Eng. (Electrical) holder from ABU Zaria. I started my working career as a plant engineer in Kaduna State Waterboard and rose through the ranks to AGM (corporate affairs) under Wacot group. I played some prominent roles in the establishment of the following companies; Wacot Ltd Funtua, Wacot Dev. Gombe, Wacot Rice Limited, Argungu and Darma Rice Limited, Katsina, to name few. As the General Manager of Sagad Farms Limited, I am honored to lead our dedicated team to build a legacy of being among leaders in the rice industries.

With over 35 years of experience, my journey has been rooted in optimizing complex supply chain management and implementing rigorous quality assurance protocols to ensure that every product meets the highest standards of food safety and consumer trust.

I am passionately committed to driving innovation in our milling technologies and processes to optimize efficiency and output. I am a strong advocate for sustainability, integrating environmentally responsible practices to ensure the long-term health of our business and the communities we serve.

My vision is to position Sagad Farms Limited for a future of sustained growth and industry leadership, where we are recognized not only for the quality of our products, rice, but also for the integrity of our operations and the strength of our team.
